This week has brought me to Seattle, WA. where, for US Grains, I have installed 5 languages (Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, and Korean). The conference brings together dozens of countries, buyers and sellers, of grains like corn, wheat, soy and sorghum. Because of this interpretation effort industry service suppliers, buyers and sellers, producers and consumers from both public and private industry are able to exchange billions of dollars in sales over the coming year. They also learn about new trends in the market, crop sizes, futures and options for these commodities, as well as the current political environment that effects their businesses.
